It was a unique webinar with Alan Reeves. And since I love business challenges, and any business that will grow will have challenges, this seminar was precisely to help you solve the last quarter of the year and start the next one strong.

We talked about the fact that the kids have gone back to school, you go back to work, and it means that the holidays are over when we have two more holidays left. That is why I will show you, step by step, what you need to do from now until the end of the year to reach your goals.

If you haven’t looked at your goals, the ones that end in December and move on to the next year and don’t, then this conversation will do the trick. Some people call them resolutions, some call them goals, and others call them goals, but you set them in late 2020. Going into 2021, you said, man, I’m going to lose weight, I’m going to get this together, I want to achieve this goal, I want to achieve that. And here we are at the end of September.

So when you think about it, where are you with your goals? Ask yourself that question: Where are you with your plans right now? The natural human thing is to look at your goals and say, man, I didn’t do it again this year. Or, you know, it didn’t matter if I even tried; I’m just not going to hit the mark. And that’s the biggest mistake you can make. It never ends until the time is up.

I’m going to talk about some things that you can do today and implement this week, next week, so that you have the best chance of reaching your goals.

And it’s not about hitting the mark. It’s about the person you become in the process of achieving and pursuing that goal. And so, every year, I look back since I started learning this in 2000.

 

How to achieve your goals for the last trimester

We are now responsible for helping them achieve their personal goals: providing money for their family, helping them make an impact in their life, and making a difference in the world.

What is the urgency? What are the things you absolutely have to do by the end of this year? they are important enough, maybe they need to be rewritten, maybe you need to do an exercise that I give to each of my clients one by one, which is that you are going to write down your goals, your five main goals in the morning when you wake up, you will write them at the end of the day.

Because by the end of the year, you will have written your goals 700 times, you will have much more clarity around those goals, you will be much more motivated on those goals, some of the goals, whatever may happen, you may find that I really don’t want that. And what I learned about goals is this: It doesn’t matter if you impress your wife, your husband, your partner, your mother, your father, your children, your friends, your colleagues, it doesn’t matter who else impresses or motivates. If it doesn’t motivate you, you’re wasting your time.

 

Let’s talk about goals

I will tell you about three ways to increase your results. There are probably a million ways, but I’m going to talk about three because the simpler we can do it, the easier it will be for you to be successful next.

 

Three ways to increase your results

Number one, we have the inner game has to do with your way of thinking. Number two is that the external game has to do with your systems, processes, tactics, strategies, how you get there. But the next one is the most important because you can have the best mindset on the planet.

I mean, you could be rock solid, you can have the best systems in place, everything running smoothly, all your ducks lined up in good order of one to three. But if you can’t act consistently, none of that matters. It is a constant action over time.

So let’s talk about the inner game. And when we talk about the inner game, we will talk about the mindset. And one of the mentalities of a champion is that there is always room to grow.

How many of you believe that you have the potential within you to perform at a higher level than the level at which you have been performing that? And one of my heroes, when it comes to mindset, is the great Michael Jordan. And one of the things, one of the stories that I love the most is when they put together this 1992 Dream Team.

They dominated all teams by an average of 46 points, simply knocking them out. And there is a particular day where they are going to play in Spain, the next day, and they are in the practice gym, and they are practicing and they are having a good time and all of them ‘They are in sync, they will annihilate the team tomorrow. And so they end at the end of the day. And Larry Bird Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan decide, hey, let’s go out into town and enjoy the night. So everyone agrees. So they all agreed to meet in the lobby, they went downstairs and looked for Michael.

They can’t find Michael, they finally find him in the practice gym, yet. Making jump shots, making, making trays, etc. Now we are talking about the best basketball player at that time, and probably in the history of basketball, in his shooting practice. And they both look like, what are you doing? He says I have another 15 minutes of practice. I’ll be with you in a minute.

You are the best man in the world of basketball. We are dominating teams. What are you doing? I’m not playing against them. I’m not playing against you. I am playing against myself. And I know that if I stop trying to improve my skills, my thinking is only as good as my last game, I thought, boom, what a great lesson.

So your first task is this for the next 72 hours, take about an hour of your time, two hours, whatever you need, and go back and look at your goals. Go back and look at all the things you’ve done this year so far because I’ll tell you this, your best effort has gotten you where you are. Now for some of you, that’s great.

 

Baseline strategy

You can use this strategy in your finances. You can use this strategy in relationships with your children, you can use it in their health and fitness, anything you want to see improvement. This strategy works every time without fail. But since we talk about business, let’s talk about money.

Talk about profitability, because you can impress me all you want by saying, Man, I made a million dollars last year. Ok? Good for you, boy. How long did you stay? Okay, pick your number, because everyone has a baseline.

So you choose what you want to measure, it’s the first step, you want to increase your net profit, you want to increase your top-of-the-line income, do you want to increase your gross profit?

Let’s talk about money. Let’s say your business is making $ 10,000 a month. That would be your baseline, 10,000. Okay, now we know what the baseline is, we know what we’re going to measure, let’s say you want to lose some weight and you’re 25 pounds overweight.

You’re supposed to weigh 150. And now you weigh 175. What’s also included in the baseline is everything you did to achieve the 10,000 phone calls you made, the new customers you had, the recurring revenue you sold, the customers potentials you generated, I want you to list each one of the things you did to earn 10,000. And that will give you your baseline.

The next step is this, you are going to look at your list and go, what do I do? What is a thing? I have 20 things, what is one thing that I can add over the next month, next quarter, next year, that if I continue to do exactly what I did, right, then the first piece will continue to do exactly what I did? I did it because it gave me a result of 10,000.

Sometimes when you look at your baseline, and this is where most people get lost, they look at their baseline, and they say, that’s not working. I’m sure I’m going to make it work this time.

 

Referral system

The referral system means coming in next month, I know exactly how many referrals I will get. I know exactly who they come from. I know exactly what day they will come to me. With that definition in mind. Now how many of you have a referral system? They don’t teach us how to create referral systems, predictable referrals, but I’m going to give you one.

What you need to do is educate your client, the person you are going to use as a referral partner on what is a good referral for you.

The next thing you can do with this is request the referral. And I’ll show you exactly how to do that here second. Referrals, you want to find out what your marketing keywords are.

Take your existing customers, the ones you really like, the ones you love, the ones you want more of. So, this is how you can tell when your cell phone is called. When your cell phone rings, and your number appears on the phone, you are looking at it and getting excited. That’s the one I’m talking about. If they are the ones that you absolutely like, and because we have to find out what we are going to market, what bait we will use when we request references.

 

What level are you playing at?

So if we take a scale from one to 10, being one that you’re sitting on the couch, you know, eating chocolates, you haven’t moved from there since this morning. thing. The number 10 is You are crazy with fire. And we can’t slow him down enough to even attend the webinar, let alone take any action on it, because he’s just busy. And you are very successful, at what level do you play it.

During the last 90 days, 30 days, whatever period of time you want to see, in terms of the relationships that are most important to you, your spouse, your partner, your children.

 

What level have you been playing it at? What about your health and fitness? And your friends? What about the other areas of your life that you should be working on? What level were you playing it at? You’ll see. So the wonderful thing is this, who decides what level you are playing at? So to play at a higher level, you have to do two things:

 

Number one

You need to expand your comfort zone. If you should already be out of your comfort zone, I’m not talking about the great saying is that we get out of our comfort zone. If you’re in business you should already be out of your comfort zone, you can’t really succeed in business if you stay in your comfort zone, you’re going to do some things that you don’t like to do. You can earn money to hire someone to do the things you don’t like to do. But I’m talking about you need to expand your comfort zone.

 

Number two

You need to take some new actions. What is your only thing? Do you know what your way of thinking is? Like? How do you expand that? It may be your mindset about lead generation, your mindset about sales, it could be your mindset about relationships, it could be your mindset about parenting, whatever it is, if you want to see improvement start with your mentality. Next, you have to have strategies, tactics, and all those other things that you have to implement.
