One of the most significant things I have learned during my more than 35 years in the business is that you can make all the money you want; you can know with the proper skill set, training, mentors, etc.
The important thing is to ask yourself whether you are happy, have joy, and enjoy the fullness of your life.
The point is that if you have a business and you don’t wake up every morning excited about work, and you have to force yourself to close at the end of the day because you get excited about what you do, and you don’t realize that you have to go home already. If that’s not where you are, then it’s time to pause, step back, and say: Okay, I have a business. I can turn around and change my business. Anytime, the way I want. Let yourself go back to the basic reason you started a business in the first place.
You can do it with a mentor or advisor who can guide you. Remember that you only have one life to live. At the end of the day, you are going to spend about a third or maybe half of your life building your confidence as a business owner.
